VW OFFERS FIVE YEARS FREE SERVICING ON TOUAREG

Volkswagen Australia have announced that all sales of their 2022 Touareg SUV will come with a complimentary 5-year Care Plan for a limited time.

Applicable to all new MY22 Touaregs purchased before 31 December, 2022, the offer provides what Volkswagen calls a seamless ownership experience, with free scheduled servicing for five years, or up to 75,000km.

As applied to the Touareg 210TDI, the free five-year servicing offer will save owners $3,600, while Touareg 170TDI buyers will save $3,000.

VW says the offer, which also applies to the Arteon sedan, is available regardless of whether the vehicle is purchased outright or with finance.

Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Vehicles, Michal Szaniecki, said the servicing offer reduces the cost of ownership on the brand’s “most stylish and luxurious full-sized models”.

“Our team has been working to provide solutions to the rising production costs and supply restrictions that are global and industry-wide challenges,” Szaniecki said.

“We have successfully negotiated greater production for Touareg, created innovative limited-edition variants in a variety of model lines, and now, reduced servicing charges and provided drive-away pricing offers as elements we can control locally.”

Back in May, VW Australia announced they had secured an additional 1000 Touaregs for the local market (the first time that full supply of the brand’s flagship SUV has been available here), which will help ensure customers can take advantage of the free 5-year Car Plan offer.
