POLARIS SIGNS ON FOR AORC SEASON 2023

The Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship (AORC) has announced a new naming rights sponsor, with Polaris Australia signing on for the 2023 season, increasing its presence in the national off-road racing series.

A leading manufacturer of off-road utility and recreational buggies, Polaris’s history in Australian off-road racing goes back many years and includes sponsorship of the SXS Motorsport Australia Championship in its foundation year of 2015.

Last year, when the SXS Championship was incorporated into the AORC, Polaris joined the series as a partner. They’re now replacing BF Goodrich as naming rights sponsor, with this year’s off-road racing series to now be known as the ‘Polaris Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship’.
“To have Polaris not only continue its support of the AORC, but to increase its presence and commit as a major partner for the 2023 season is a boost for the Championship,” said Motorsport Australia Director of Motorsport and Commercial Operations Michael Smith.
“On behalf of Motorsport Australia, I’d like to thank Kris and the whole Polaris Australia and New Zealand team for their continued support of the AORC.”

For Polaris Australia & New Zealand Marketing Manager, Kris Matich, the local arm’s increased support of off-road racing is a positive.

“Polaris is Australia’s number one selling off road vehicle brand and as such there is a logical connection to align with the Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship,” Matich said.
