NISSAN REINTRODUCES ST-L GRADE FOR PATHFINDER

Nissan has expanded their Pathfinder range for 2024, with the entry-level ST-L grade re-introduced. Available in 4x2 and 4x4, the eight-seat ST-L joins the eight-seat Ti and seven-seat Ti-L in the family-sized SUV lineup. In addition, the Ti is now available in 4x2.

“With eight seats, the choice of two- or four-wheel drive, and the confidence of a powerful, yet efficient V6 engine, the Pathfinder ST-L has room for everyone to go almost anywhere,” said Nissan Australia Marketing Director, Sriram Padmanabhan.

Powered by the same 202kW/340Nm 3.5-litre petrol V6 (matched to a nine-speed automatic transmission) as the rest of the Pathfinder range, the ST-L grade comes as standard with 18-inch alloys, dusk-sensing LED headlights, LED fog lights, a power tailgate and roof rails.

Standard safety and assistance tech on the Pathfinder ST-L includes front and rear parking sensors, ProPILOT semi-autonomous driving assistance, an around-view monitor, rear seat alert, nine airbags and the comprehensive Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety suite.

In-cabin tech includes a 7.0-inch Advanced Drive-Assist Display instrument screen, 10.8-inch Head-Up Display and 9.0-inch centre touchscreen with navigation, DAB+ radio, Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay and four USB ports. Heated front seats, power-adjustable driver’s seat, and tri-zone air-conditioning are also standard.

On the ST-L 4x4, Mud and Sand driving modes are added to the Standard, Sport, Eco, Snow and Tow modes from the 4x2. The 4x4 also gains Hill Descent Control.

Braked towing capacity of 2700kg (for both 4x2 and 4x4) applies to all grades and is enhanced by the Tow mode and Trailer Stability program.

Above the ST-L, the new Pathfinder Ti 4x2 grade adds leather accents to the seats and heating to the outer second row, a wireless charging pad, auto-dimming rear view mirror, rear window sunshades, an additional USB port and 13-speaker Bose stereo. The same upgrades apply to the Ti 4x4, which runs the same Intelligent 4x4 system as the ST-L 4x4.

The expanded 2024 Nissan Pathfinder range is available now, excluding the Ti-L, which will be available from Q4, 2024. Compared to 2023, pricing has increased by around $4,500, depending on model.
