New ARB Recovery Strap Range

Incorporating new snatch straps, winch extension straps and tree trunk protectors, this latest range of straps is manufactured from top quality, durable materials and encompasses a new high visibility colour scheme to ensure safe and reliable recovery. The strap range also features eye and seam protector sleeves and folded, reinforced eyes for easier fitment to shackles. Specifically designed to stretch under load for maximum performance, an ARB snatch strap is a very effective method of extracting a bogged or immobilised 4WD when a second vehicle is present.

ARB snatch straps are elastic, the benefits of which are twofold. Firstly, the kinetic energy generated by the elasticity actually aids the recovery itself, and secondly the elasticity greatly reduces the likelihood of vehicle damage during recovery. The 8000kg model is recommended for most 4WD vehicles, with the 11,000 and 15,000kg straps better suited to heavier applications. When used in combination with an electric or hand winch, an ARB winch extension strap will effectively 'extend' your cable's length when the most suitable anchor point is out of reach. Measuring 20 metres in length, ARB has a 4500kg and 8000kg model available, depending on your requirements.

Manufactured from durable polyester material an ARB winch extension strap is lighter and easier to store than additional lengths of wire rope. Utilising a tree as an anchor point in a winching situation can greatly assist vehicle recovery. However, wrapping cable, rope or chain around it can cause damage to both your equipment and the tree. Coming in two practical lengths, ARB's tree trunk protector features 75mm wide webbing which eliminates the risk of ring barking and helps to ensure safe vehicle recovery. Woven and fabricated to ARB specifications, and tested by a NATA approved laboratory, the new straps are available in a range of sizes to suit individual purposes and are ideal for both recreation and competition use.
