MDC release AUSRV ‘MkII’ off-road caravan range
MDC Camper Trailers & Offroad Caravans used the recent Melbourne Leisurefest caravan show to unveil the first units in their AUSRV XL MkII range.
Available in ‘XL13E’ and ‘XL15-4E’ variants, the MkII versions of these off-road hybrid caravans include the patented AeroLocker front storage box for aerodynamics and an electric roof lifting mechanism for safety and convenience.
Reflecting the growing demands on battery systems from electronic devices, the updated AUSRV XL13E and XL15-4E also come standard with a 200AH LiFePRO+ lithium battery and Projecta battery monitor with Bluetooth connectivity and upgraded charging capabilities.
The solar charging system has also been upgraded, providing an additional 100 to 350 watts of solar power, with the XL15-4E MkII model boasting a whopping 650W of solar as standard.
Other features include Trail-Assure electronic asymmetric stability control, a wireless rear view camera, diesel heating and air conditioning, to name a few.
A Milenco TV antenna and an under-awning annexe are included as standard, while cosmetically, there’s an all-new graphics scheme for both models.
The first off-road camper trailer and hybrid caravan importer in Australia to obtain RVMAP Accreditation, MDC are also one of the few manufacturers in the industry to have become an ISO9001 Quality Certified business
