Maxxis Bravo AT-980 tyres

Peter Leicht, Director of Leicht's Tyre and Auto, gave the AT-980, a 4WD endurance tyre, a big thumbs up in pre-launch testing on his VW Amarok.

"It's great in all conditions - wet, dry, and the open pattern lets the tyre clean out the mud very well.

"When you first look at this tyre, you would think it would be a bit noisy, but quite the opposite: the Maxxis AT-980 is very quiet on the tar."

The aggressive, all-terrain tread pattern makes the AT-980 suitable for a range of applications, from tarmac to medium level off-roading. The compound delivers exceptional handling, while the steel-belted construction ensures longer life and more uniform wear.
