Mahindra releases limited edition Pikup
Arriving in Mahindra dealerships in February, the Black mHawk Pikup ute is defined by exterior touches that include a black bullbar, black wheelarch flares, black sidesteps and a black sports bar.
Black 17-inch alloys and black decals on the bonnet and flanks are also part of the Black mHawk package.
The Black mHawk limited edition is offered on the 4x4 dual cab S10 Pikup with ute tub rear as standard, but buyers can choose to replace the tub rear with one of four tray options – galvanised steel, powdercoated gal steel, GPA alloy or HDA alloy.
With the tub rear, the Black mHawk Pikup is priced from $38,990 (plus ORCs), backed by a 5-year limited warranty with roadside assist.
“This is the first time that Mahindra has offered a limited-edition vehicle to the Australian public,” said Mahindra Australia National Manager, Ankit Taneja. “It was designed in Australia, for Australian conditions.”
Drivetrain for the limited edition is unchanged from the regular dual cab Pikup – a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel, matched to a 6-speed manual transmission. Other standard features include a reversing camera, sat nav and ISOfix child seat anchors.
Braked towing capacity is 2,500kg, with payload of over 1,000kg in both dual and single cab forms.
Mahindra has also released special ‘Tradie Packs’ on selected Pikup models.
On the 4x2 Single Cab S6 Pikup, Mahindra are adding a free ladder rack and towbar to a package that includes a general-purpose aluminium tray, Eaton diff lock, cruise control and Bluetooth; all for a special price of $23,990. A similar offer on the 4x4 S6 Single Cab Pikup adds a free GPA tray (valued at $2,000) for $26,990.
Both the Black mHawk Pikup and these Tradie Packs are available for a limited time only, so see your Mahindra dealer for further details.
