Jayco launches 2022 caravan range
Jayco Australia has unveiled its 2022 range, which features new décor and design elements, as well as enhanced off-road capabilities and improvements to kitchen, cabinetry and ensuite items amongst a wide range of upgrades and additions.
Solar Upgrade
Amongst the impressive new features in the 2022 range is a new MPPT solar system, which Jayco say is capable of improving power output efficiency by up to 20 per cent.
Already standard in Jayco’s Outback models, this new MPPT system has been added to the Silverline, All Terrain and Journey caravans for 2022. To complement the addition of this system, these three models will also gain an upgraded 200W solar panel.
Another new addition, applied across the range of Outback models, is an Anderson plug, which enables an additional portable solar panel to be connected. Jayco says this additional power source and improved solar technology will deliver greater off-road capabilities for keen adventurers.
“At Jayco we are always striving towards improvement and innovation in the design and build of all our products,” said Scott Jones, Jayco National Sales Manager.
“We know that more and more of our customers are opting into off-road travelling. We kept this in mind when designing our MY22 Outback, CrossTrak and All-Terrain models. These improvements to solar power efficiency, with the addition of the Anderson plug, will give our customers the capabilities to go further – and for longer.”
New Look Inside and Out
The MY22 Jayco lineup is identified by a fresh look inside and out thanks to the addition of new interior furnishing options, a new bedspread, new rim designs as well as black doors and protective black window shades.
In addition to these stylish and modern interior and exterior design upgrades, that are applied across the range, the MY22 Journey, Starcraft and All Terrain caravan models also feature new kitchen furnishings that include interlocking cabinetry, adding greater strength and durability.
In the Silverline and Journey models, the ensuites have been redesigned to include additional cabinetry for improved storage. On these models, there will no longer be cabinetry around the washing machine, which Jayco says will allow for greater accessibility and ease of use.
New Pop Top Models
For 2022, Jayco’s Starcraft 12.38-1 and 12.38-2 Pop Tops will join the Journey Pop Top range and will include all the features that come standard in the Journey models, like an air conditioner, 100AMP battery and app functionality.
According to Jayco, this evolution creates the most compact, comfortable, and practical Journey Pop Tops yet.
Additionally, all Jayco Starcraft caravans will now feature a fibreglass exterior, providing further durability and strength, as well as greater insulation for improved heating and cooling.
Finally, the All Terrain Pop Top range has been expanded with the addition of a bunk/ensuite model - the 17.58-3 - which Jayco say is perfect for families or small groups wanting to enjoy the great outdoors, but with all the comfort of the great indoors.
“We continue to see domestic travel skyrocket, and we’re seeing an increase in popularity of our adventure market, not just for couples but for families, too,” Jones added.
“The new addition of the 17.58-3 to the All-Terrain range will allow families to enjoy the
most out of their off-road adventures, and provide a safe and affordable way to travel
further off the beaten track.”
