The car that Bruce Garland will be driving in the Max Run Challenge 2011 is the newly released special edition D-Max X-Runner, fitted pout with $5,000 of extra gear.

The D-Max X-Runner comes in both 4x4 and 4x2, auto or manual and features black leather seats, stylish slim-line side-steps, a chrome 'nose job' with mesh grille, bonnet protector garnish and fog light bezels, plus Bluetooth connectivity, special 'X-Runner' front side striping and up back a chrome sports bar with an integrated high-mount brake light array. Drive away pricing starts at just $37,490 for the LS-based 4x2 manual X-Runner while the 4x4 LS-U-based top model is just $42,990 drive away for the manual plus dealer costs. Production is limited to just 210 and the X-Runner is now available through participating Isuzu Ute dealers.
