HSV expands Colorado SportsCat range

Unlike the limited-edition SportsCat R (see JUST 4x4s #352), the Look Pack will be a regular production model, priced and spec’d between the two existing variants.

Available in a new ‘Crush’ colour option (pictured), the Look Pack adds most of the visual styling cues of the SportsCat+, including that model’s unique grille and front fascia, wheelarch flares, 18-inch alloys, bonnet bulge and hard tonneau cover.

Despite the name suggesting it’s just a visual upgrade, the Look Pack also gets the SportsCat+’s increased ride height and wider track, the HSV Sports Suspension package, unique ESC tune, Cooper all-terrain tyres and safety package. In fact, the only SportsCat+ kit that doesn’t carry across to the Look Pack is the de-coupling rear anti-roll bar and AP Racing brake package.

“The rugged styling cues of the SportsCat+ model have been exceptionally well-received by customers and dealers alike,” said HSV Managing Director, Tim Jackson. “The introduction of the ‘Look Pack’ now provides buyers with three distinctive SportsCat specification and pricing alternatives to suit their work and lifestyle requirements.”

The SportsCat Look Pack is priced at $62,490 for the manual transmission version. That’s a small premium over the $60,790 SportsCat, but under the $66,790 SportsCat+ (all pricing excludes ORCs). 

A 6-speed auto is a $2,200 option on all SportsCat grades, with other options including prestige paint, a tub liner, load rack, rear sail plane trim and SupaShock suspension.
