The Altea 432 PX is a well laid out caravan with the basic no fuss requirements for a family on an extended road trip, plus a few extras. The Altea 432 PX is the first of the Altea range to hit Australian shores. Designed for touring, the 5.97 metre long caravan has plenty of space.

"Adria's research and development program has generated technological advantages in the manufacturing process, enabling the company to produce full-sized caravans that are strong but extremely light in weight," Mr Scott said. The Altea 432 PX is no exception, managing to weigh only 910 kilograms. "That's even with the extra aluminium gusseting on the chassis and a reinforcing layer in the walls that is specially added to the caravans bound for Australia," he said. Adria has recognised that Australian road conditions are harsher on tow vehicles and their trailers and caravans than roads in Europe, and has strengthened its Australian export caravans accordingly.

The strong yet lightweight materials used in Altea 432 PX's caravan construction help to insulate the cabin interior from both external temperature variations and noise. The AL-KO stabilising hitch makes this lightweight caravan extremely easy to tow, saving drivers money at the bowser. Every Adria caravan has a toilet and shower as standard and Altea 432 PX is no exception, with an electric toilet and full shower located at the rear of the cabin. "For many families, having a personal shower and toilet is a major benefit when on holiday," said Mr Scott.

Altea's layout has been specifically designed for the Australian market. There are two double beds, one of which is a permanent fixture and can be closed off via a sliding door. The other converts into a dinette during the day. Both beds have the luxury of a domestic style mattress and are of generous size and thickness, ensuring an added degree of comfort for weary holiday makers. All windows have roller blinds and mosquito nets, and the stable style main door allows easy air flow throughout the cabin. Storage compartments are designed for ease of use on long holidays.
