2021 Melbourne 4x4 Show rescheduled
The National 4x4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo has had to postpone this year’s Melbourne event due to new COVID-19 outbreaks and related lockdowns in Victoria.
Originally scheduled for 20-22 August, tickets had actually been released at the start of July, but the Sydney COVID-19 outbreak in June that spread into Victoria has forced the show to be moved to 26-27 November.
Opening times have been set for 8:30AM – 6:00PM on Friday 26 November and Saturday 27 November, and 8:30AM – 5:00PM on Sunday 28 November.
The rescheduled show will still be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds, which has multiple outdoor and indoor exhibition spaces, ensuring flexibility to deal with various COVID requirements.
The event will run with a COVID-safe plan, which includes pre-purchase tickets only, with individual registration of each showgoer to ensure contact tracing requirements.
Limited ticket availability and staggered entry times to reduce on-site numbers. Related to this is a limited number of tickets per time slot, so it’s recommended that showgoers book their tickets early to secure their preferred time slot.
Tickets are due to go on sale in October, with adult tickets $20/day, pensioner tickets $17/day and child tickets FREE (under 16).

While many features of past National 4x4s Shows will carry over to this year’s rescheduled event, there will be some new additions for 2021, including the Show N Shine, where owners of four-wheel drive rigs of all types can win some great prizes. Sponsored by Custom Plates Victoria, entry to the Show N Shine is free and there will be multiple categories 4x4 owners can enter.
The popular Outback Stage and Action Arena will feature, but the special guests and makeup of the Action Arena programme remain subject to developments.
