2019 Sydney Caravan Expo preview
Held at the Sydney Olympic Park precinct in Homebush this 20 to 22 September and presented by the NSW Caravan and Camping Industry Association, the expo will showcase the latest caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes and campervans, with more than 100 exhibitors displaying, including respected names like Avan, Winnebago, Vacationer, Sunliner, Cub Campers, Stoney Creek, Mars Campers, Patriot and EzyTrail, to name a few – and that’s just the caravans, campers and motorhomes! There are plenty more exhibitors in the fields of tents and outdoor gear, accessories, health and first aid, BBQs, tours, destinations and more – with stallholders both outdoors and undercover.
According to CCIA Chief Executive Officer Lyndel Gray, the Expo is expected to attract big crowds keen to gear up for the summer holidays.
“We expect that the Expo’s showcase of top brands, timing, venue and central and easily accessible location will have strong appeal.
“In addition to an impressive array of major brands of motorhomes, campervans, caravans, camper trailers, accessories and holiday spots, we will have a bustling marketplace, practical demonstrations and lots of family entertainment.
“This year we’ve upped the training and educational components of the Expo because so many people are keen to learn about the practicalities involved,” Gray explained.
Popular celebrity TV chef Fast Ed will be in attendance and conducting cooking demonstrations each day of the expo.
There’s also the chance to win a brand-new Isuzu D-MAX ute or MU-X SUV - worth more than $60,000.
