2007 Holden Rodeo
The new 3.0-litre VCDi common rail turbo diesel engine delivers peak power increases of 25 per cent while meeting strict new Euro 4 emission requirements. Peak power of 120kW is achieved at 3600rpm (up from 96kW at 3800rpm) and peak torque of 333Nm at 1600rpm (automatic) and 360Nm at 1800 rpm (manual), an increase of 39Nm and 66Nm respectively. GM Holden Marketing Manager, Teresa Basile said, "The new Holden Rodeo is our most powerful diesel Rodeo ever. With increases in power and torque and a three tonne braked towing capacity on our 4x4 diesel variants, the new Rodeo is an outstanding new model representing great value for money." Rodeo diesel models receive new five-speed manual and four-speed auto transmissions to manage the increased torque and retain a light shift feel. All 4x4 turbo diesel variants now have a 3000kg braked towing capability, which represents an increase of 500kg on manual variants and a 1000kg on automatic variants.
Rodeo models powered by the 3.6-litre Alloytec V6 petrol engine deliver peak power of 157kW at 5300rpm and peak torque of 313Nm at 2800rpm. The 2.4-litre four cylinder engine delivers peak power of 92kW at 4800rpm and peak torque of 209Nm at 3000rpm. DX and LX models receive a new trim called New Jersey (dark grey) and LX is also available in a new exterior colour (Tornade Red). The LT model includes interior silver sports highlights, cruise control, halogen projector headlamps, a sports instrument cluster, passenger vanity mirror, multi-information display and a roof console all as standard. LT is available in two new exterior colours (Tornade Red, Sterling Silver) and a new trim Rascel (dark grey). Holden's 2007 Rodeo range is offered in seven colours. Pricing remains unchanged for the new Holden Rodeo.
