Sunliner launches Iveco Daily 35S-based motorhome
The first company to make use of the 35S is Sunliner, who have applied their smaller ‘Pinto’ and ‘Sage’ motorhome bodies to the platform.
“There has been a notable increase in recent years of buyers who are single but still wishing to travel and enjoy the motorhome lifestyle,” said Sunliner Marketing Manager, Candice Brittain.
“These buyers don’t need the larger space that a couple or family might need, but still prefer a motorhome, rather than a caravan, because a motorhome is easier to manoeuvre, and because of the added security factor as there’s no need to leave the vehicle when they stop for the night.”
The Daily 35S used by Sunliner has many of the same features as its larger 45C and 50C stablemates, like an automatic transmission, reversing camera and Bluetooth connectivity, but runs a 2.3-litre intercooled turbo-diesel engine producing 94kW and 320Nm.
The Sunliner Sage combines a spacious living area with compact overall dimensions and can be driven on a normal car licence.
Within its 6.7m length, the Sage is available in two different configurations and features: swivelling front seats; rear seating that converts into a double bed; abundant wardrobe and storage space; a kitchen area with mircrowave, stovetop, oven, sink and 140lt fridge; and an ensuite-style bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.
