Listen, Learn and Laugh
The National 4x4 Outdoors Show Sydney is much more than just a big shop, with plenty of live entertainment, informative presentations and interactive displays each day.
Leading the way here is the Outback Stage, a show favourite from the Brisbane and Melbourne events, where the finest and funniest personalities in outdoor lifestyle media inform, entertain and take questions from the audience.
Special guests locked in for July include Jocko from 4WD 24/7, Bri and Bridget from Red Dirt Diary, the Aussie Arvos crew and Tyler Thompson, while Sydney debutants for 2023 include the always popular Jase Andrews from All 4 Adventure and Sam Eyles from Built not Bought.
Displays and Demos
In terms of attractions where you can take part, Isuzu’s Iron Summit will show the stump-pulling torque and impressive braking of the D-MAX and MU-X on seemingly crazy inclines and declines. If you get the chance, take a passenger ride on the Iron Summit – it’s a lot of fun!
The ARMA (Australian Recreational Motorists’ Association) will provide 4x4 recovery demonstrations all weekend, while the Girls Day Out workshops will show that 4x4 repair and maintenance isn’t purely the domain of blokes.
Attractions of a different kind include the wildlife shows presented by Black Snake Productions and live music from Cush Ryder in the Outback Bar.
There’s also a Show N Shine, where punters present their 4x4 rigs – rusty or sparkling, fully custom or factory stock - for the chance to win cash and prizes across multiple categories, as well as free entry to the show.
NOTE: Entries for the Show N Shine were due to close on 19 June, but there may still be a chance for late entries. Email: [email protected] for more information.
New Stuff
An all-new attraction for the National 4x4 Outdoors Show Sydney is ‘Mount Maxxis’ that’ll see Mad Matt take on a series of challenges on a prepared course in an off-roader provided for the event by Opposite Lock.
