New tech features for Ford Kuga

The entry-level Kuga Ambiente now comes standard with SYNC 2 connectivity technology, a wide-angle rear-view camera and dual-zone climate control air conditioning.

 

Ford says that these new family-friendly technology upgrades, along an 8-inch colour touchscreen (40 percent bigger than some competitors'), DAB+ digital radio and voice-controlled satnav introduced last year, are not available in a number of the Kuga's key competitors.

 

Powered by a 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, the Kuga also includes Ford's Intelligent Protection System suite of advanced safety technologies, a choice of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed auto transmissions, as well as front- or all-wheel drive.

 

The MY16 Kuga Ambiente is available now, with special reduced pricing before 30th June, 2016. The AWD Kuga Ambiente auto is currently $31,990, but will rise to $33,250 from 1st July.
