The vehicle: This has to be the most immaculate 4x4 VW T3 Syncro campervan in Australia and presents as if new. Absolutely no expense has been spared in its refurbishment. Its recent upgrading has seen the vehicle fitted with a completely rebuilt 3.3 litre Subaru flat six ET33 (SVX) engine which included new cylinder heads, rings, gaskets etc. Elsewhere, new heavy duty suspension components were added as was a new radiator, new drive shaft, new de-coupler, new clutch kit, new CV boots -the list goes on. The vehicle sits on 15" mag wheels has had a high lift for exceptional ground clearance. Extraordinary off road capability is provided through a super low crawler gear and locking differential -- both of which are aided by the fact that the engine is located over the rear wheels.
